Special thanks to Clara Syme, John Cooper, and Naomi Steinhagen.
A design for a rural dwelling in central-eastern Mexico. An undulating wall dictates the geometric rotation of domestic programs and indoor and outdoor spaces.
ARC 506 (Spring 2019, Princeton University School of Architecture)
Critics: Florencia Pita, Jackilin Bloom.
Three rectangles (one parallel to each side of the trapezoidal site) become the containing walls for this K-12 School in Trenton, NJ.
The goal of this design is to create four discrete schools (kindergarden, elementary, middle, and high school) which, on a macro scale, are all integrated into one system of layers, overlaps, and intersections. The resulting space is one of difference disguised as uniformity, randomness disguised as order.
ARC 502 (Spring 2018, Princeton University School of Architecture)
Critics: MĂłnica Ponce de LeĂłn, Iman Fayyad.
A communal living space for off-peak sleepers. The building is divided into two floors: day and night. In the latter, dwellers’ inverted circadian rhythms are guided by the ambient light emitted by rotating screens.
ARC 505 (Fall 2018, Princeton University School of Architecture)
Critics: Cristina DĂaz Moreno, EfrĂ©n GarcĂa Grinda
